Live with a Series Land Rover for a while and you quickly fall in love – except perhaps with the engine. The Electrogenic Series Land Rover kits deliver a solution for this – smooth reliable on-road driving and enhanced off-road capability.
There are two electric conversion options. The E48 kit fits Series I, II or III Land Rovers and the E62 which has additional batteries behind the rear axle, fits Series II or III Land Rovers.
The kits all eliminate the ancient manual gearbox and connect the motor to the transfer box via a proprietary single-fixed ratio gearbox. This means they drive smoothly like an automatic but retain all the offroad capability of the original vehicles – and most importantly all the transmission levers and ring-pulls remain fully functional, including the optional two or four-wheel drive. Both options combine exceptional drivability with great offroad performance – you can’t stall an electric motor and the ready torque will get you up anything.
The battery boxes are dense and carefully designed so the cabin space is untouched. Both include CCS super-fast/rapid charging.
The control system delivers a range of drive modes. In high ratio (on-road) it gives you Sport, Eco and Town modes, with Town mode enabling “one-pedal” driving. When you select low-ratio (offroad), the control system automatically re-maps the throttle pedal and gives you continuously variable regen-delivered “engine braking” for perfectly controlled offroad hill descents.
As with all our kits, there is no cutting, drilling or welding required to fit them, so your Land Rover stays completely original – just with more capability and fewer fumes.

We supply them to partner businesses around the world and our network is growing fast. A limited number of kits will be installed at our workshop in UK.
