Like all Electrogenic kits, this is a drop-in kit with no cutting, welding or drilling required.
The electric DeLorean conversion kit is an exceptional meld of motor and machine. The kit has been designed to retain the same overall weight and the same weight distribution as the original car, but with more than twice the power and torque it gains the sports car performance that its looks demand. The DeLorean was designed as a cool USA cruiser. The Electrogenic drop-in kit makes it a true sports car.
The motor, inverter, charger, cooling system and rear battery box bolt in to the original engine mounts. A small additional battery pack is fitted in place of the fuel tank, leaving the cavernous luggage space under the hood (bonnet!) untouched. The kit comes with custom drive shafts and the control system supports different drive modes (e.g. sport, eco and town).

How to install our kits
Electrogenic conversion kits are designed to be fitted by a trained specialist with as little fuss as possible. We supply them to partner businesses around the world and our network is growing fast.
