Electrogenic Christmas Newsletter 2024

Another full year at Electrogenic!

It’s never quiet here but 2024 has been particularly fast-paced.

We had a great start to the year with automotive industry recognition in the form of an E-Mobility award for our sophisticated “drop-in” EV conversion kits.

Electrogenic Army Land Rover

And we were delighted to complete the delivery of the British Army’s first four combat EVs for trials at the Armoured Trials and Development Unit at Bovington camp – all developed in partnership with Babcock International and proudly Powered by Electrogenic.

Jason Momoa’s On The Roam!

In February our conversion of a beautiful 1929 Rolls Royce Phantom II for Jason Momoa, was featured in his On The Roam TV series, released on Max and Disney Plus.

Worldwide Partner Installer Network

During the year we established further partnerships, resulting in new Electrogenic Tech Centres in Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand and the USA, and we delivered our first EV conversion kits to Africa.

We were delighted to convert a Kia Pride for Kia UK PR, and also to partner with Neem, an innovative ethical fashion label, with fantastic clothes that are kind to the planet and Blenheim Palace who provided a fabulous prize for our Win A Clean British Getaway competition with Neem and also a stunning location for our photoshoot.

Electric Morris Minor for Heckfield Place

We were also proud to have delivered a beautiful electric Morris Minor, “Chamomile”, to become a key part of the customer experience at Heckfield Place.

We have developed some exciting new technology for driver interfaces and 12V power distribution, and were delighted to present this at SEMA 2024.
We added exciting new kits to our range, to journalistic acclaim, including the re-powering of the iconic DeLorean and also the MX-5/Miata.

Top Gear Award!

And we are absolutely delighted to have finished the year with more automotive industry recognition in the form of the Top Gear ‘Retro Hero of the Year’ award, for our revolutionary self-fit conversion kit for the classic Mini. You can read all about how they fitted the kit in just one day at Electrogenic HQ in the December edition of Top Gear Magazine.

It really has been quite a year! A year made possible by our amazing team and tried and tested solidity of our technology foundations.

We look forward to sharing our progress with you in 2025, answering any questions you may have and engaging in debate as our EV industry continues its rapid growth.

Have a great Christmas,

Steve and the Electrogenic team
